IS SOCIAL JUSTICE STILL ALIVE?

 

You all must have heard of the term ‘social justice’ everywhere but are you familiar with its meaning?

Most people are, but they simply don’t act upon it and that’s exactly what’s happening around the world, no place on earth is declared as ‘just’ and ‘equitable’, it all comes down to one thing and that are your actions and your behavior towards the people who are counted in ‘minority’.

I’ll elaborate on it, as you must have studied about “Declaration of human rights”

In your textbooks, so be honest, do you really think higher-ups act upon it?

No, the answer is simple.

The people who aren’t privileged enough to make themselves known among other people are the ones that face the most difficulties throughout their lives.

Now let’s talk about how we need to emphasize the need to be ‘just’ towards people.

Observe your surroundings and tell me honestly, if the change you want so badly, are you working for it?

The simple act of being nice to someone below your class, shows whether you're a kind person or not, your harsh behavior cannot be justified.

Treating someone differently based on their ethnicity, wealth, caste and creed is a true violation of human rights.

And remember, that the things you do to others will eventually find their way back to you.

My only purpose of writing this, is to raise awareness among the youth about this crucial issue, and guide them to do the same when they observe any case of ‘racial discrimination’ in their surroundings.
