THE LEGACY REVIVAL
Albert was just like any other 13-year-old boy who lived in the beautiful state of LA. Albert did not personally admire LA itself but only liked it because of the cool cars he saw there. Ever since he was a child, he had admired the cool cars, which never failed to make his jaw drop with excitement.
There
was a high schooler, about 19 years old, who was good friends with Albert. His
name was Tim. Tim also happened to have a rather ‘cool’ car in Albert’s eyes.
It was a Mercedes. But not your average Mercedes! It dated back to the year
1991—the legendary W140E model, to be exact. It was made specifically for
people who adored luxury but still wanted to look like a mafia boss.
But
these days, in the modern era of luxury cars, it had lost its ‘prime time’ and
wasn’t very special anymore, at least in the eyes of most people. This car was
equipped with a 6.5-liter V12 engine, pushing over 700 horsepower, plus it was
tuned.
Albert
was always so obsessed with Tim’s car more than any other cool car he had seen,
because the owner wasn’t just some spoiled 21-year-old boy.
Anyway,
today was a rather worrying day for Albert as he was suffering from a rare
disease called gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), which sometimes caused
his throat to block. Albert knew he had the disease, but it usually only flared
up at night for a minute or two, and he was fine after that.
Today,
however, his throat was blocked unexpectedly at school. He was ‘rushed’ to the
hospital in a teacher’s car, but Albert was slowly dying. It was clear that
time was running out, so he had to try something different. He told the driver
that he was driving very slowly with his limited breath, but the driver didn’t
seem to care a bit. Albert texted Tim and told him about the situation.
Tim
arrived at the scene in moments. He helped Albert climb into the W140E, and
after that, he floored the car and sped, sped, and sped. That V12 engine got
them to the hospital in mere minutes, and Albert received the immediate medical
attention he needed.
He
heartfully thanked Tim and smiled, knowing that Tim and his magnificent W140E
had saved his life.
Albert
posted about this, and many people admired the work of the W140E. The once-lost
legacy was revived.
