IF SUBJECTS WERE PEOPLE

I’d like to introduce some special guests- the ones who have been with us through thick and thin (and way too many early mornings) I’m talking about our school subjects brought to life.Just imagine if these subjects were people and trust me, they'd be just as dramatic as we always suspected.

 

Let's begin with Math: Math would definitely be that one friend who thinks they are a genius, always calculating every move seriously about the ‘Formula for Life’. Math would easily start an argument over something as small as a decimal point.

 

English is the artsy, poetic soul of the group. You ask them ‘’How are you?’’ and suddenly there goes a 15 minute speech about mysteries of the human condition and quoting Shakespeare like it's their job. They would find a deeper meaning in a grocery list.

 

Well, Science would be that one experimental friend who constantly asks ‘’What If ……?’’ And always coming up with random theories. They would make you try weird food combos, responsible for every bad ending experiment.

 

Urdu would be poetic, deep and cultural. It would be shown up in traditional clothing, speaking like a 19th century poet and reciting Shayari that nobody understands. Urdu would call you out for not understanding the beauty of your roots.

 

History would start every sentence with ‘In my day ….’ when you want to talk about weekend plans they would remind you how life was tougher back in the day. ‘‘Did you know Napoleon slept only for three hours a night?’’

No History we did not and we’re Okay with it!

 

Geography would be the most adventurous one, always talking about distant places and planning the next big trip. They would constantly quiz us on capitals and mountain ranges and insist We would Thank them later.
