THE MAGICAL POT

 

Once upon a time a poor farmer was ploughing when suddenly he hit something hard. It was a large metal pot. “What’s this? A metal pot!” he said “I wonder if there is something more valuable hidden underneath. In hopes of finding something more valuable the farmer starts digging deeper. Tired after hours of digging, he decided to take some rest, so he lay down under a tree.

After a while, when he got up and went back to the pot, he was surprised. The pot was full of spades. “But I’ve just left a single spade in it? Where did all of these come from?” he thought. “Perhaps, it’s a magical pot! Whatever is put into it, is multiplied by thousands. I should test it!”. After saying that, he grabbed a Mango and put it in the pot. After waiting for some time, thousands of Mangoes magically appeared in the pot. He was surprised. He went to the market and earned a handsome amount of money by selling those Mangoes. He was extremely happy. He went back home and there he put different kinds of grains into the pot to get enough grains to support his family for the rest of the year. This way a poor farmer becomes rich and lives a happy life with his family.
